Obama has been President for 48 hours now but it only took a few seconds from him putting his hand on Lincoln old bible to the White House webpage had changed. I’m very impressed by the White House’ step into the future. His predecessor former President Bush was famous for his comments on the “the google” and “internets” and he once asked about the internet: “Will the highways on the Internet become more few?” Obama on the other hand told the press several times that he is going to miss his BlackBerry when he enters the Oval Office.
The new White House webpage has a blog and even more interesting a page where you can send comments directly to President Obama – however, you are not going to tell him how to solve the crisis in the Middle-East because the word limit is 500 characters. Furthermore, many of the President’s speeches will also be uploaded so his “fans” all over the world can follow him over the next four years.
